A First-of-its-Kind Devotional Offering
Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar (SGYP), a dedicated non-profit spiritual organization committed to preserving and promoting Sanatan traditions, is honored to present its first-ever Bhajan Jamming celebration in observance of Gudi Padwa 2026.

This inaugural gathering represents a significant milestone for the Pariwar - an inspired initiative designed to bring together devotees, families, musicians, and community in a refined musical offering that harmonizes devotion, culture, and collective upliftment.

Through an immersive sangeet program of soul-stirring bhajans, this event seeks to rejuvenate the spirit and foster a deeper connection to our timeless traditions at the dawn of the New Year.  In this sacred space, individual distinctions gently dissolve, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in devotion and experience a sense of oneness, peace, and alignment with the divine.

Dear Devotees and Friends,
Thank you for the overwhelming enthusiasm and support for our Gudi Padwa – Sanatan New Year Bhajan Jamming 2026.
We are delighted to share that the event is now fully SOLD OUT. Your
incredible response truly reflects the spirit of our vibrant and devoted community.
We look forward to welcoming all registered attendees this Sunday. Kindly note the following important details:

Event Timing
The program will begin promptly at 11:00 AM (EST).
To maintain the sanctity of the opening ceremony and Gudi Hoisting, doors will close at 11:00 AM sharp. We kindly request all guests to arrive early to allow sufficient time for registration and seating.

  • 11:00 – 11:15 AM – Blessings from Bappa and Hoisting of the Gudi

  • Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar is pleased to have been able to provide a virtual Shree Darshan during our Annual “Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav” celebration on Ganesh Chaturthi as per our continued tradition. Pariwar treasures your wholehearted participation in our month-long Shree Ganesh Atharvashirsha Avartan initiative. 

    After having affectionately greeted our dear Bappa this year, now we are planning for the upcoming Pitrupaksha 2022 when we remember those family members, friends & associates that are no longer with us and offer our oblations to God, Sages and Pitras.

    For the past several years, SGYP has been organizing "Pitru tarpan", where we express our gratitude to the souls who have brought grace, wisdom, protection, and love to our lives.


    This Year SGYP is planning on performing a complete Sarvjanik (Public) Shraddha, as it is prescribed in the scriptures. Bharatiya culture says that, just as we serve our parents and close relatives when they are alive as part of abiding by our Dharma, we have certain duties unto them after their death. The shraddha rites provide us with an excellent opportunity to fulfill these duties and repay our debts unto the Pitaras (ancestors).

    Day & Time:
    Saturday, Sept-17th
    10:30 AM to 1:30 PM


    How do we plan to do it: 
    Of course, our priests will perform the entire Shraddha Prayoga ritual (2-3 hours), including the appropriate food items;
    1. Providing Brahman Bhojan for your Pitaras by inviting Brahmins for Shraddha
    2. Chanting appropriate mantras during the Brahman Bhojan.
     
    How can you participate:
    1. You will perform Sharddha for your Pitras
    2. You will participate in preparing Pindas for all those, whose shraddha is performed
    3. You will be doing Pinda Puja
    4. You are requested to follow up proper dress code by wearing Dhoti and Upvastra (preferably White color)
    5. All Puja items list will be provided to you by SGYP, however, you need to bring Pali, Panchpatra, and Tamhan with you
     

    Pariwar looks forward to serving our community for the Shraddha service. Please send your RSVP, as this requires planning, we will appreciate your response and confirmation at your earliest convenience to reserve your spot.

    Expected Donation for this detailed event: CAD $251

Since the start of this year, the world has had to face challenging times with the pandemic outbreak.

Having experienced living a secluded lifestyle due to the virus and with restrictions on social gatherings, Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar (SGYP) is thankful for your understanding and participation in our virtual monthly poojas.

We continue to abide by the Canadian restrictions of carrying out our daily routine and professional life by staying at home in an attempt to control the spread of the virus.

Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar (SGYP) is pleased to announce the opportunity of performing the sacred pooja of Mahashivratri - 2021 from the sanctity of your homes.
 
Please join us as we worship Lord Shiva during the divine occasion of Maha Shivaratri.  The program (virtual) will start on


Thursday March-11th, 2021 at 7.30 PM

 
To recite these compositions as a group and share this time together with the Divine presence of Lord Shiva and Parvati, we will perform a pooja this year as outlined below --
 
We will do Sadyojat Vidhan Puja, Rudra Abhisheka to Shivalinga along with Shree Lalita Sahasranama (thousand names of Goddess Lalitha).  The Abhishek can be offered with water, milk, honey, sugarcane juice or panchamrit.
 
Suggested Dress Code:

In alignment with the Vedic significance of clothing when conducting pooja, we recommend that all devotees wear traditional clothes (for men kurta pajama, Dhoti with Upavastra, and sari for ladies). Ideally, Wearing these kinds of auspicious clothes with Rudraksha, along with applying kumkum and vibhuti, helps to receive the maximum blessings on this holiest night.

In response to the WHO (World Health Organization) declared “COVID-19 PANDEMIC” SGYP (Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar) Board of Directors Announce Cancellation of “Gudhi Padwa Celebration and Shree Ganesh Puja“ scheduled on March 24, 2020 at Hindu Heritage Center, Mississauga, Ont.

All SGYP organized monthly pujas and social gathering activities will be suspended until Public Health Authorities clearance is received to resume the Activities.

Your understanding, help, observance of Public Health directed COVID-19 preventive measures and prayers for our well being are sincerely appreciated.

Eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations
Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar is proud to announce that our initiative of providing eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations continues to receive an overwhelming response and we have made arrangements for making these eco-friendly idols available this year as well!! We are very happy to inform that we have received a huge response this year too, and many families are excited to celebrate the festival at home with beautiful eco-friendly Ganesh murti. By doing so we continue to ensure to protect and respect our environment and help the community and the net proceeds will support our organization’s charitable activities. Food Donations:
Pariwar has launched an ONGOING FOOD DRIVE in response to the call for support by our local food banks. We will be accepting contributions for food donations at EVERY EVENT, and all funds towards food donations will be fully disbursed to needy food banks around the GTA.

Pariwar now accepts and welcomes contributions to the Endowment Fund. Membership is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations.

The Fund will also ensure the ongoing sustainability of the finances of Pariwar. 
Membership of the Endowment Fund is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations. We look forward to your active continued support and participation in all our events.

Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar is happy to have been able to provide Shree Darshan during Ganesh Chaturthi as per our continued tradition. Pariwar appreciates your wholehearted participation in this event and your continued support.
 
After having affectionately greeted our dear Bappa this year, we are planning for the upcoming Pitrupaksha when we remember those family members, friends & associates that are no longer with us and offer our oblations to God, sages and Pitras. For the past several years, SGYP has been organizing Pitru tarpan, where we expressed our gratitude to the souls who have brought grace, wisdom, protection and love to our lives.
 
This Year SGYP is planning on performing a complete Sarvjanik Shraddha, the way it is prescribed in the scripture. Bharatiya culture says that, just as we serve our parents and close relatives when they are alive as part of abiding by our Dharma, we have certain duties unto them after their death. The shraddha rites provide us with an excellent opportunity to fulfil these duties and repay our debts unto the Pitaras (ancestors).
 
How do we plan to do it: Of course, our priests will perform the entire Shraddha Prayoga ritual (2-3 hours), including the appropriate food items;
  1. Providing Brahman Bhojan for your Pitaras  by inviting Brahmins for Shraddha
  2. Chanting appropriate mantras during the Brahman Bhojan. 
 
How can you participate:
  1. You will perform Sharddha for your Pitrars
  2. You will participate in preparing Pindas for all those, whose shraddha is performed
  3. You will be doing Pinda Puja
  4. You are requested to follow up proper dress code by wearing Dhoti and Upvastra
  5. All Puja items list will be provided to you by SGYP, however, you need to bring Pali, Pachpatra and Tamhan with you
 
 
If you are interested to join us for Shraddha, please send your RSVP, as this requires planning, we will appreciate your response and confirmation. To reserve your spot we require your confirmation

Future Plans to Build Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Temple and Community Centre:
It is prestigious for Shri Ganeshyag Pariwar  to receive our revered Bappa, in the form of the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan , blessed with full rituals in the inner sanctum of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai, India, and was accompanied with one of the three original Kalas (temple sanctum dome adornment) that adorned the temple.
Bappa has chosen to make GTA His new home! He has given us this divine mission to serve our community. We seek your help in generating funds and will enable us to establish the proposed Shri Siddhi Vinayak Mandir and Community Centre. We trust we can count on your concrete support to build our own community’s first Vaastu – the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre in the GTA.

Eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations
ShreeGaneshyag Pariwar is proud to announce that our initiative of providing  eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations received an overwhelming response last  two years. This success has encouraged pariwar   for making these eco-friendly idols available this year as well!! 
We are very happy to inform that we have received a huge response this year too, and many families are excited to celebrate the festival at home with beautiful eco-friendly Ganesh murti. By doing so we continue to ensure to protect and respect our environment and help the community and the net proceeds will support our organization’s charitable activities. Food Donations:
Pariwar continues its ONGOING FOOD DRIVE in response to the call for support by our local food banks. We will be accepting contributions for food donations at EVERY EVENT, and all funds towards food donations will be fully disbursed to needy food banks around the GTA.

The Pariwar Programs:  
All Pariwar programs and events are held through volunteering, donations and are free of cost. We look forward to your engagement and participation in OUR events. Please donate generously. For all donations of $20 and over, SGYP will issue official donation receipts.

Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar Endowment Fund:
The general membership unanimously approved a new Bylaw enabling the establishment of the Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund for the purpose of acquiring immovable and long term properties. It has been our long-cherished dream to set up a Ganapati Temple and Community Centre that becomes an integral part and identity of our community in the GTA. The Fund will also ensure the ongoing sustainability of finances of Pariwar. Membership of the Endowment Fund is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations.

Siddhi Vinayak Mandir and Community center:
Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar is presently in the process of establishing a Siddhi Vinayak Mandir and Community center in Toronto/GTA area. Pariwar is actively making dedicated efforts in raising funds to accomplish its goal towards community development. We are excited to inform that we have begun to receive donations globally through our website. Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund:
The general membership unanimously approved a new Bylaw enabling the establishment of the Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund for the purpose of acquiring immovable and long-term properties. It has been our long-cherished dream to set up a Ganapati Temple and Community Centre that becomes an integral part and identity of our community in the GTA. The Fund will also ensure the ongoing sustainability of finances of Pariwar. 
Membership of the Endowment Fund is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of$1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations. We look forward to your active continued support and participation in all our events.

Food Donations:
Pariwar has launched an ONGOING FOOD DRIVE in response to the call for support by our local food banks. We will be accepting contributions for food donations at EVERY EVENT, and all funds towards food donations will be fully disbursed to needy food banks around the GTA.

Shree Ganesh Yag Pariwar Endowment Fund:
Pariwar now accepts and welcomes contributions to the Endowment Fund. Membership is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations.
Your generous donations are valuable and contribute to our Fund-Raising Efforts! For all donations of $20 and over, SGYP will issue official donation receipts.

Future Plans to Build Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Temple and Community Centre:

Last year, our revered Bappa, in the form of the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan was received by SGYP blessed with full rituals in the inner sanctum of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai, India, and was accompanied with one of the three original Kalas (temple sanctum dome adornment) that adorned the temple.

Bappa has chosen to make GTA His new home! He has given us this divine mission to serve our community. We seek your help in generating funds and will enable us to establish the proposed Shri Siddhi Vinayak Mandir and Community Centre. We trust we can count on your concrete support to build our own community’s first Vaastu – the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre in the GTA.

Eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations
ShreeGaneshyag Pariwar is proud to announce that our initiative of providing  eco-friendly Ganapati idols for domestic celebrations received an overwhelming response last year and have made arrangements for making these eco-friendly idols available this year as well!! We are very happy to inform that we have received a huge response this year too, and many families are excited to celebrate the festival at home with beautiful eco-friendly Ganesh murti. By doing so we continue to ensure to protect and respect our environment and help the community and the net proceeds will support our organization’s charitable activities. If you wish to take one of the beautiful Bappa home, please contact any of our Directors.


Food Donations:

Every year we welcome Ganapati Bappa with great enthusiasm and grandeur! This year Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar (SGYP) will celebrate the festival in collaboration with the Hindu Heritage Centre, Mississauga. In continution with its traditional splendeur and fervour, we will celebrate Shree Ganesh Chaturthi on August 24, 2017 evening and August 25, 2017morning. You are cordially invited with family and friends and we hope to receive your enthusiastic and overwhelming participation as always!

We trust that our artistic decoration theme is sure to please you and add to the excitement!!

Future Plans to Build Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Temple and Community Centre:


As we celebrated Gudi Padwa this year, we were pleased to announce that the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Dhyan blessed with full rituals in the inner sanctum of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir, Mumbai, India, was received by SGYP and was accompanied with one of the three original Kalas (temple sanctum dome adornment) that adorned the temple.

We feel that SGYP has been given this divine mission to serve our community. We seek your help in generating funds and will enable us to establish the proposed Shri Siddhi Vinayak Mandir and Community Centre. Can we humbly count on your concrete support and help?

Together Let’s build our own community’s first Vaastu – the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir and Community Centre in the GTA.

Eco-friendly Ganapati celebrations:

Celebrate your beloved Ganapati festival with a murti (dhyan) from Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar and bring home an eco-friendly Ganapati Bappa this year!!

Food Donations:

Pariwar has launched an ONGOING FOOD DRIVE in response to the call for support by our local food banks. We will be accepting contributions for food donations at EVERY EVENT, and all funds towards food donations will be fully disbursed to needy food banks around the GTA.


Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund:

Pariwar now accepts and welcomes contributions to the Endowment Fund. Membership is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations.

Please Donate Generously and contribute to our Fund-Raising Efforts! For all donations of $20 and over, SGYP will issue official donation receipts.

Namaskar, Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar (SGYP) is pleased to welcome you all to join us for the monthly Ganesh Pooja that is hosted by the Hamilton Hindu Samaj Temple. We proudly hold our annual pooja in association with the Hamilton Hindu Samaj temple.The unique and revered Ashtha Vinayak at the Hamilton Temple which is Pariwar's devotional offering represents this pious collaboration. You have the opportunity to visit and seek blessings of the Ganesha here that has secured a heritage status and hence a must visit the place. You have the opportunity to perform abhishek on the Ganesh idol.


Program details are as follows:
Shodshopchar Ganesh pooja with Atharvashish recitations followed by arati and prasad.

Shree Ganeshyag pariwar is presently in the process of establishing a SiddhiVinayak Mandir and Community centre in Toronto/GTA area. The proposed Ganapti mandir will be a unique temple open for the well-being of the entire community. Pariwar is actively making dedicated efforts in raising funds to accomplish it's goal towards community development. The general membership unanimously approved a new Bylaw enabling the establishment of the Shree Ganeshyag Pariwar Endowment Fund for the purpose of acquiring immovable and long term properties. It has been our long cherished dream to set up a Ganapati Temple and Community Centre that becomes an integral part and identity of our community in the GTA. The Fund will also ensure the ongoing sustainability of finances of Pariwar. Membership of the Endowment Fund is open to everyone who contributes a minimum one-time amount of $1,000.00 to Endowment Fund. Members at their discretion may donate additional funds. We encourage you all to contribute to this Fund and become a part of a heritage monument and Community Centre that will nurture and cherish our culture for our future generations.
