SGYP, a charity organization has always taken a stand to support nature and environment as an important mandate of charity, and we have seen a great response from all of you in our environment friendly programs.

Shree GaneshYag Pariwar will be joining Credit Valley Conservation in a Tree Plantation event. Do join us once again this year for a community tree planting and stewardship event! Everyone is welcome! We would like you to support this event by bringing kids, youth and friends to this community event. Students are also welcome to participate, as volunteer hours for school can be accumulated through this event.

Enhance the integrity of this park by nurturing wildlife habitat and increasing biodiversity!

Date and Time:
Saturday May 30th from 9:30AM to 12:00PM
Location:
Meet us at  White Willow Common Park (Please click the link to see a map of the meeting point and work area). Parking is available on local side streets such as Spinnaker Cir. Please pay attention to parking signage.

What to Wear & Bring - Tips for Nature Friendly Volunteers
  • For your safety, wear a hat, long pants, long socks and closed-toe shoes.
  • This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress for the weather.
  • Your own reusable water bottle (we have water to refill from).
  • Sunscreen and bug spray.
  • Waiver (if required, see details below).
Additional Information:
  • Please do your best to arrive on time. Tree planting will take place while supplies last.
  • Registration is recommended.
  • Washroom amenities will be available.
  • Volunteers 13 years or under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Volunteers ages 14 to 17 attending without a parent or guardian must bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver or have a parent or guardian sign one at registration prior to leaving.
  • Volunteers 18 years and older, please read the Adult Volunteer Waiver.
  • Participants collecting volunteer hours, please notify staff at the event and bring any required sheets.
